As I grow and evolve my brand, I am becoming much clearer on what I want that to look like. At five months in, I am still spending more than I am earning. Honestly, I’m not earning anything yet—but things worth having, things that truly mean something, take time and hard work.
There are days I feel like giving up. But then I think of my sweet husband and all he has done for me and our family over the years, and that keeps me going. I want to give him the opportunity to fully enjoy his upcoming retirement.
One definitive choice I have made for the future of my brand is that I only want to buy from a few select wholesalers known for unique, high-quality items. From there, I want to partner with a few small businesses I’ve already worked with—ones I believe can complement my vision so we can help each other grow.
I don't know the exact blueprint of how that will happen or precisely how it will look just yet; I just know it’s the right path for my brand. It might take another six months just to work out all the technical kinks, but I am going to keep plunking away at it. I know I might seem a bit all over the place right now—and honestly, I am! But please bear with me, I’ll get there. I am persistent, and I have faith in the Lord to help me.
