AllyBay was built from a dream of slowing down, living intentionally, and creating a life centered around family, creativity, comfort, and meaning.

What started as a small online shop has slowly grown into something much more personal — a carefully curated collection of pieces that reflect the kind of life we love: cozy homes, nostalgic style, unique finds, quality craftsmanship, and products with character you won’t find lining the shelves of big box stores.

As our family prepares for a major life transition — my husband retiring within the next year and our move from Texas to the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Virginia or West Virginia — AllyBay is growing right alongside us. Our goal is simple: build a slower, more meaningful life surrounded by nature, family, and the things that matter most.

The name AllyBay comes from our children — our grown kids who are still the heart behind everything we do. They’ve built beautiful lives of their own, and while they may not be making this move with us, family remains at the center of every decision we make. One of my biggest dreams is creating enough freedom to spend more time with them, future grandbabies, and my parents, who we plan to bring along on this next chapter of life.

I currently work full time as a caregiver, a job I truly love because caring for people has always been part of who I am. But as we prepare for this transition, I wanted to build something flexible, meaningful, and lasting — something that allows us to support our family while staying true to the life we want to live.

Recently, AllyBay has begun shifting even more toward supporting fellow small businesses, makers, and unique brands that share those same values. Instead of filling the shop with mass-produced trends, I want AllyBay to feel personal, curated, inspiring, and full of pieces you genuinely connect with — whether that’s cozy home decor, nostalgic fashion, handcrafted goods, or unique finds that help express your personality and style.

Every item added to this shop is chosen intentionally. If I wouldn’t use it, wear it, decorate with it, or gift it myself, it doesn’t belong here.

We may be simple people, but we believe there’s beauty in simple living, meaningful spaces, and surrounding yourself with things that make life feel warm, authentic, and lived in.
