The Hustle, The Heart, and The 6-Month Mountain Goal

The Hustle, The Heart, and The 6-Month Mountain Goal AllyBay

TGIF, friends! If you saw my post today featuring a very exhausted Bugs Bunny, then you know exactly where my head is at. It’s been one of those weeks where the hustle is real, the coffee is strong, and the "to-do" list seems to grow every time I blink.

Between working a full-time job, managing the shop, and navigating the beautiful chaos of family life, things can get a little overwhelming. But every extra shift and every late night has a very specific "why" behind it.

The 6-Month Vision We’ve set a big, hairy, audacious goal for ourselves: we are pushing to have our house paid off in the next six months. Why? Because that’s the key to the next chapter—listing the house and finally heading toward those mountain views in Virginia or West Virginia.

Now, if life has taught me anything (especially looking back at the curveballs 2025 threw our way), it’s that nothing is set in stone. We’re working hard, but we’re also trusting the timing. Sometimes the road is a little windier than you planned, and that’s okay.

Real Life > Filtered Life At AllyBay, I’ve realized that being "authentic" means sharing the grind just as much as the finished products. We’re simple people living within our means, chasing a dream of freedom—freedom to be present for family and to care for my parents.

So, if you’re out there grinding toward a dream that feels a little out of reach today, just know you aren’t alone. We’re all just our own little "brand of nuts" in this nutshell, doing our best to stay inspired.

Here’s to a restful weekend and the strength to keep pushing forward!
